World War One British P'08 Webbing set is made heavier, tighter webbing and improve brass fitting. A basic set of equipment consist of 3' inch wide waist belt, with two angle 2 inch buckle at the rear.To these bucle shoulder strap attach. These shoulder straps are 2 inches wide, and go over the shoulder and then buckle to the left and right ammo pouches, at the front of the belt. The left and right ammo pouch consisted of five individual pockets and three underneath and two above the shoulder strap is the buckle to the top of the set. There is a diagonal 1''strap leading to the rear this is to secure lower portionof the small pack. When the rifle ammo pouch are not worn these sholder strap can be attached to a pair of braces attachments or a simply looped about the belt. A Haversack is supplied tht can be worn in avariety of positions and metods. But it can be also worn in the middle of the back, the lower 1 inch buckle fixed to two 1 inch diagonal straps coming from the ammo pouches or the braces attachment. An Entrenching tool carrier and water bottle carrier are also worn at the below the waist. The entrenching tool have two piece device and the handle of which is carried strapped to the baynot scabbard and attachment to the baynot frog. Alarge pack also carried and this was almost universally carried only on the back. Two long 1 inch strap were required to be used when fitting the large pack.
